The Infinity® 98 furnace delivers precision comfort with Greenspeed intelligence. This is the most advanced Carrier® furnace ever made. Its unique design innovations achieve unprecedented efficiency and quiet.


Greenspeed intelligence is created by pairing adaptable-speed technology with our Infinity control’s intelligence. The unique, modulating gas valve of this unit, when managed by the Infinity control, allows it to literally adapt its output to the needs of the home. With tiny, 1% adjustments between 40 and 100% capacity, it gives the home only the amount of heating necessary.


This allows the furnace to operate longer at steadier, lower capacities, which ensures incredible energy efficiency and quiet operation with tighter temperature control than standard furnaces.

The Comfort Series

Gas Furnace

The Comfort series gas furnace is equipped with our Power Heat hot surface ignition. It’s one of the most robust and durable ignition systems available. This ignition creates zero need for a pilot light, reduces gas usage and promotes worry-free operation.


The power of two heat exchangers allows for the primary heat exchanger to do most of the work and the second to pull additional heating energy from remaining combustion gasses. The efficiency maximizes by extracting heat from the gas used.

Hybrid Heat

This dual fuel system allows customers to have less concern over the unpredictable nature of utility costs. The Comfort series gas furnace combined with an electric heat pump and Carrier compatible thermostat provides comfort and economy flexibility. The system switches between electric and gas heating as needed to optimize efficiencies of each fuel source.


Comfort 95 achieves up to a 95.5% AFUE and Comfort 92 achieves up to 92.1% AFUE. Affectively converting 95.5 and 92.1 cents of every dollar spent on gas into heated air for your home. Each with a 10 year limited warranty.
