Types of Heating Systems

Natural Gas and Propane Forced Air Systems

  • Furnaces that use gas provide even heating throughout your home by circulating the air through ductwork. This is a common type of system, and offers a variety of options for furnaces. It is also easy to add central air conditioning to this type of system.

Boilers

  • Instead of circulating heat through the air, heated water is circulated through a series of pipes and a baseboard or radiator-type heat exchanger called a boiler. This type of system does not require ductwork,
