Radiant floor heating is a great alternative to standard forced-air systems found in most homes. With in-floor heating, your home is able to stay consistently warm during those chilly months. The system is installed under the surface of your floor and can work with virtually any type of flooring. The tubing under the surface will warm and heat anything it comes into contact with. Unlike forced-air systems, air isn’t being blown in to the room through a vent, allowing warm air to rise to the ceiling. In-floor heating is especially energy efficient for homes with vaulted ceilings, the warm air stays at ground level versus drifting up.
