You Work Hard for Your Money

You work hard for your money, why let dollars slip away?  Why waste money on heating and air conditioning energy costs when that leakage can be prevented?

Harold Wilkes of Mechanical Extremes takes those questions seriously.  In the video below you’ll hear how one customer was blown away after Mechanical Extremes installed a new system in an existing house.  Watch the customer confirm the dramatic difference between old and new.

Mechanical Extremes and energy efficiency are joined at the hip.

Mechanical Extremes became the seventh HVAC company to be certified Energy Star 3.0.  Although this recognition can only apply to new construction, it points to Mechanical Extremes’ dedication to energy efficiency.  To reach 3.0 level, not only HVAC, but all construction elements must be considered.  That means windows, insulation, roof, appliances—the whole home envelope.  Mechanical Extremes has worked with M-R Builder on several Energy Star 3.0 projects. It’s a high level not easily attained. The ductwork must hold water.

Here’s a real-life story.  Mechanical Extremes installed a system for a Grass Lake customer.  When the tester arrived at the home, he told Harold the system would likely fail four or five times.  The fog test was applied. The surprised tester passed and certified the system on the very first attempt.

To achieve a 3.0 Energy Star rating is no small thing.  Does Mechanical Extremes take lessons of energy efficiency from 3.0 projects and apply them to existing homes?  Yes.  Lessons learned make a big difference.  What that means more dollars in your pocket year-after-year.

Now, let this Mechanical Extremes’ customer tell you his before and after story.
